Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains clearly what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Who We Are
This website is operated by luckvsmath.com. Our contact email is contact@luckvsmath.com.
When we say “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean the operator of luckvsmath.com. When we say “you,” we mean anyone visiting or using our website.
What Data We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Usage data — pages you visit, how long you spend on the site, your browser type, device type, and approximate location (country/region level). This is collected automatically when you visit.
- Purchase data — if you buy our book, your purchase is processed by Gumroad. We receive your email address and general purchase details. We do not receive or store your payment card information — Gumroad handles all payment processing.
- Email address — if you sign up for our email list, we collect and store your email address.
- Cookies and tracking — we use cookies and similar tracking technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. See the Cookies section below.
How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- To deliver the product you purchased and send you your download link (via Gumroad)
- To send you emails if you have opted in to our mailing list
- To understand how visitors use our website and improve it
- To show you relevant advertisements on platforms like Facebook and Reddit (using anonymised audience data from our Pixel)
- To comply with our legal obligations
Cookies and the Facebook Pixel
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to help us understand how visitors use the site.
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, a tracking tool that allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to build anonymised audiences for advertising purposes on Facebook and Instagram. The Pixel may collect your IP address, browser information, and pages visited.
You can opt out of Facebook’s use of cookies for advertising purposes by visiting Facebook’s ad settings.
When you first visit our site, a cookie consent banner will appear. You can choose to accept or decline non-essential cookies at that point. Essential cookies (required for the site to function) cannot be disabled.
Third Parties We Share Data With
- Gumroad — our payment and delivery processor. Their privacy policy is available at gumroad.com.
- Meta (Facebook) — for advertising purposes via the Pixel.
- Reddit — for advertising purposes if you arrive via a Reddit ad.
- Email platform — if you join our mailing list, your email is stored with our email service provider.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party, ever.
Your Rights (UK GDPR)
As a UK resident you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access — you can ask us what data we hold about you
- Right to correction — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data
- Right to object — you can object to us processing your data for marketing
- Right to withdraw consent — you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@luckvsmath.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as necessary. Purchase records are kept for up to 7 years for accounting purposes. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion at any time.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment processing is handled entirely by Gumroad and we do not have access to your card details.
Children’s Privacy
Our website and products are not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
